It’s so kind of you to have reblogged this. Thank you. I don’t know if you know Lady’s history, she’s the senior dog in the photos. She was abandoned by her family of 15 years to a kill shelter. The staff at the shelter fell in love with her and featured her in a video that made it into social media. A friend sent it to me and the next day my hubby and I drove the 2 1/2 hr drive to adopt her. At that time, we thought it was to assist her to a peaceful transition (she was severely heartbroken, disoriented, wouldn’t eat, could hardly get up) but she surprised us all. Proof is in the above photos showing her beautiful self at 4 weeks since coming to her new and last forever home. The other two, Max (missing a hind paw) and Bella are from kill shelters as well. Lucky are we who live with these magnificent teachers of love. Thank you again, Paulette

Paulette, thank you so much for sharing this story with me a little more intimately. I love people like you and all the others that have love for earths animals. It really breaks my heart that any at all would suffer and I am so happy she has love and a good home.
